Victor
Charter broker built around naming the operator and aircraft in the quote.
Opens Victor's own site. Ask for an itemized total in writing.
What sets it apart
The clearest operator-disclosure promise among the providers we read: it says it always discloses the operator name, aircraft details and tail number before you book, and passes on the operator's own cancellation policy. It calls itself the only on-demand provider to do so, which we did not test.
What it says it is
Its homepage refers to "your dedicated broker" and says it works only with AOC-certified operators.
Price it publishes
The homepage has a search form with a "Show estimates" button and publishes no hourly rates. It says quotes show fuel burn estimates.
No hourly figure published. Not a quote.
Operator and instant price
Operator named? States that it always discloses the operator name, aircraft details and tail number before booking, and passes on the operator's cancellation terms.
Instant online estimate? The provider says it offers one. We did not test it.
Buyers for whom knowing the actual operator and tail number before paying is the deciding factor.
You want a published hourly rate to compare against.
Watch out for
- The disclosure promise is its own statement. We have not requested a quote to see it in practice.
Before you request a quote
- Ask whether the hourly figure is a base rate or all-in, and how many billable hours the trip uses.
- Ask for the operator's legal name and the aircraft's tail number, then check it against the FAA list.
- Ask for taxes, fees and any brokerage charge as separate lines. See what is usually added.
