What sets it apart
Names the tax add-ons by amount (7.5% excise tax and a $5.30 per-passenger segment fee, which matches the FAA's 2026 rate) and says what the hourly rate already includes: aircraft, crew, fuel with standard surcharges, and insurance. Few providers state both.
What it says it is
Its charter page says: "Paramount Business Jets is an independent charter broker. We don't own aircraft."
Price it publishes
Hourly table plus sample trip prices, for example New York to Miami at $17,000 in a light jet and $23,000 in a midsize jet. The page says every rate is drawn from its own booking database.
| Provider's label | Published | Note |

| Very light jets | $2,900 to $3,400 | |
| Light jets | $3,750 to $4,200 | |
| Super light jets | $4,200 to $4,600 | |

| Super midsize jets | $6,200 to $7,500 | |

| Ultra long range jets | $12,000 to $17,000 |
The provider says fees or taxes are added on top. Not a quote.
Charges it names
- 7.5% federal excise tax
- Domestic segment fee (stated as $5.30 per passenger)
- De-icing and pet cleaning, charged as incurred
Operator and instant price
Operator named? Says it vets operators and runs an ARGUS TripCHEQ or Wyvern PASS report on the assigned aircraft, crew and operator before each departure. The pages we read do not say whether the operator is named in the quote before you book.
Instant online estimate? The provider says it offers one. We did not test it.
Buyers who want to check a quote against a published table that says what is and is not included.
You need the operator named before you request a quote. The pages we read do not say when that happens.
Watch out for
- Rates come from its own bookings, so they describe what it sold, not what the whole market charges.
- The page says there are no hidden fees. The post-flight items it lists, de-icing and pet cleaning, are charged as incurred.
Before you request a quote
- Ask whether the hourly figure is a base rate or all-in, and how many billable hours the trip uses.
- Ask for the operator's legal name and the aircraft's tail number, then check it against the FAA list.
- Ask for taxes, fees and any brokerage charge as separate lines. See what is usually added.
