What sets it apart
Its page says the rates cover aircraft, crew and fuel only and then lists what is extra: federal excise tax, segment fees, boarding and airport taxes, overnight fees, international handling and landing fees. That separation is explicit, where several providers blur it.
What it says it is
Its cost page says: "As a charter broker, Mercury Jets compares aircraft and rates across a global network of FAA Part 135-certified operators." Its homepage says it holds the ARGUS Certified Charter Broker designation.
Price it publishes
Hourly ranges from $1,800 to $12,500 depending on aircraft. It also groups flights by distance: short range $1,800 to $3,500, mid range $3,500 to $6,500, long range $6,500 to $12,500.

Operator and instant price
Operator named? Says it works with FAA Part 135-certified operators and presents several aircraft options. The pages we read do not say whether the operator is named before booking.
Instant online estimate? The provider says it offers one. We did not test it.
Buyers who want a clear list of what sits outside the hourly rate before asking for a quote.
You want one rate per aircraft category. Two of its ranges cover two categories at once.
Watch out for
- The range for "mid-sized or super-mid-sized" is a single band, so it cannot tell you which of the two costs more.
Before you request a quote
- Ask whether the hourly figure is a base rate or all-in, and how many billable hours the trip uses.
- Ask for the operator's legal name and the aircraft's tail number, then check it against the FAA list.
- Ask for taxes, fees and any brokerage charge as separate lines. See what is usually added.
