What sets it apart
Shows how published figures age: a current "starting from $6,500 an hour" for light jets, next to an undated PrivateFly page with single-aircraft hourly rates from $2,037 to $8,841. Only the current figure is treated as live here.
What it says it is
Calls itself a "Premium, On-Demand Charter Provider" with "an extensive network of elite aviation providers" and its own FXSelect aircraft program. PrivateFly pages now say PrivateFly is becoming FXAIR. The pages we read do not say whether it operates aircraft itself.
Price it publishes
Older PrivateFly page, undated and carrying an FXAIR banner, lists USD hourly rates by aircraft: Citation Mustang $2,037, King Air 200 $2,116, Citation XLS $4,207, Learjet 45 $4,685, Legacy 600 $7,060, Global Express $8,841. It says booked prices are fully inclusive of fees and positioning. Those rates are not in the comparison table because the page has no date.

Buyers who want a branded, membership-capable provider and a starting price to anchor on.
You need a full hourly rate card. Only a light-jet starting price is current.
Watch out for
- The old PrivateFly rates page is still live and undated.
Before you request a quote
- Ask whether the hourly figure is a base rate or all-in, and how many billable hours the trip uses.
- Ask for the operator's legal name and the aircraft's tail number, then check it against the FAA list.
- Ask for taxes, fees and any brokerage charge as separate lines. See what is usually added.
